Exxel Outdoors' commitment to environmental goals makes us a strong supply chain partner in sustainability.

Since 2000, we have saved more than 30 million pounds of waste from going to landfills.

We are manufacturing our sleeping bags in Alabama with approximately 80% recycled polyester and we are developing other eco-friendly products.

Exxel is striving to be at zero-waste. We recycle 98 % of all of our industrial waste. We have minimized our packaging materials and reduced our actual package sizes, which also decreases transport energy usage.

We are researching ways to use 100% renewable energy in our manufacturing processes, via solar power and other sustainable energy sources.

Exxel Outdoors is a voting member of the Eco-Working Group of the Outdoor Industry Association. The Eco-Working Group consists of more than 100 outdoor businesses collaborating to develop the industry's first environmental assessment tool, called the "Eco Index."
